TFC Considerations & Steps:
Step #1- Supervisor Lens
Determine if TRY Family Counseling, Inc (TFC), fits your needs as a clinical supervisor. Latasha is an LMFT and PhD student who values teaching, patience, kindness and takes on a collaborative, ethical and culturally sensitive learning environment. Each associate should assure the cost of supervision is in their budget and the availability meshes well with their schedule. TFC uses a strength-based, psychodynamic, interpersonal, humanistic, solution-focused, somatic processing, family systems lens when guiding supervisees in clinical supervision. If so, schedule a consultation now.
Step #2- Scheduling & Paperwork
TFC will provide initial paperwork to begin the supervisory relationship. This will include setting expectations in the supervisor-supervisee relationships, completing assessments, supervisory agreements, supervisory plan, oversight agreements, discussion of hours & logs, then begin scheduling supervisions after the initial meeting to review the paperwork together. We will review this in the Initial Supervisor-Supervisee Supervision Meeting.
Step #3 - Attend Supervisions & Collect Hours
Next, based on the need of the supervisee, we will meet on a weekly, biweekly, monthly basis to discuss cases, clients, etc. in the scheduled supervision session(s).
